This is my build of a Royal Navy Phantom F4K in 1/32 scale - a build that requires quite a lot of adaptation of the venerable Tamiya F4J kit.   In 1964 the Royal Navy replaced its Sea Vixens with a modified version of the Phantom F4J. DeHavilland Sea Vixen

This is the wonderful 1/48 scale Sea Vixen kit from Airfix. The aeroplane featured was flown by the last person to fly a Sea Vixen who also flew them operationally. It's a great kit with very good detail, excellent fit and a good range of options for folded wings etc. I always love an aircraft with a twin boom - and the Sea Vixen is one of the most interesting, iconic and beautiful.
