Built from a truly horrible snap-together Revell kit from the 70s - this van was originally a Charlie's Angels tie in. Instead it became a post-apocalyptic zombie van, with metallic paint and deep-pile shag replaced with heavily rusted exterior, scratch built seats in the back and a great big zombie bar on the front. Great fun to do - and not a Farrah Fawcett blonde flick in sight!...
This is a build of the huge old Monogram kit form the 1970s and was an original kit that had been started by the owner and then abandoned. The age of the kit posed the usual challenges of age-brittle plastic and poor casting, but overall it is a great kit of possibly the most beautiful car in the world. I built this aircraft with Hellenic Airforce markings - which is not a subject I have ever looked at before, but it's actually a really good scheme. The build is from the recent Revell 1/48 kit which is excellent and something of a surprise to me.
